Of course I remember you. You and I were the originators of the Kansas/notKansas school of Website design! Glad to hear everything's going well, and it's great to hear from you too.

Hey Stephen Brooks! I remember you! (Do you remember me? I worked at Multiactive when you were there, I worked with Bernie HB (doing online marketing) and then left and started Brandever with him... then left that too, and then left Vancouver too.... hmmmm, there's a trend there.... but I am done with leaving. So early 2000s...).

Anyway, I have no idea how I found your site but glad I did -- awesome, smart stuff.

I live north of Ottawa now (in La Belle Province) in a small town with a small daughter. I am working for myself doing web strategy and search marketing -- still. HAD a blog for a few months (at http://magnetstrategy.com ) but man o man, ran out of time to blog! Don't know how you do it.

Anyway, nice to have found you.

The picture is a bit of a cheat - it's from about 1998 - I use it on the site 'cause I'm wearing a tie. Here are some recent photos: http://barmarbybroox.wordpress.com/2008/05/12/its-the-story-not-the-product/.

Brooks - you are still one very funny, very smart guy. I was actually browsing for Dubrule (since that dreadful fire - but he's a tough guy to locate - I was only ever able to find him when I was actually on Queen St) and came across this vid and your blog.

It's been decades - did you invest in one of those Dorian Gray portraits? You look marvelous! Hope all is well with you and your family.

peace
